ABOUT

Hey, Girl, Hey! is an annual Spring event curated for teen girls in the 6th - 12th grade, hosted by The Co-Lab Collective.  It is a day full of activities designed to educated girls on effective communication, conflict resolution, selfcare, financial awareness, health, and so much more.  This event is full of fun, but there is a big educational component.  Last year, our young ladies visited The Legacy Museum  where they learned about enslavement and mass incarceration, which was a very sobering experience.  This year we will visit The Mothers of Gynecology Monument, a monument created by Michelle Browder that is dedicated to Anarcha, Lucy and Betsey, three young black girls, who were used for medical experimentation during the 19th century. 

WHY DONATE?

Your donation helps to cover the cost of entry into the exhibit, transportation to and from the monument,  breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, t-shirts, swag bags, staff, booklets, and more.
